Buddleja ‘Alternifolia’ is an unusual cultivar. The foliage is much finer than the normal Buddleja form, and the branches tend to be long, arching and thin. The ideal kind of position is amongst lower shrubs so that the branches can grow up and through. The flowers of Buddleja Alternifolia are long, intensely fragrant and lilac in colour, but smaller than most others in diameter. A choice plant. Fully hardy, grow in most fertile soils in full sun.
The size can be easily controlled by pruning as required.
