Calceolaria Integrifolia, or ‘Pouch Flower’ is an evergreen half hardy sub-shrub. Has grey-green foliage and bears yellow ‘slipper’ like flowers in the summer.
It is more hardy than the books say, as they have survived quite happily in at least -7C here over winter. Having said that, you would probably be best off overwintering inside if grown in a pot.
Has grey-green foliage and bears yellow ‘slipper’-like flowers over the summer. Outdoors, grow in light, moderately fertile, acid soil in sun or partial shade. In frost-prone areas bring in over the winter or tuck up in a greenhouse. Origin – Chile.
Don’t confuse this with the Calceolaria that are grown as annuals.
Cracking plant…and very very attractive to bees.
