Clerodendrum ‘fargesii’ is suited for growing as part of a warm border, even though it is very hardy, or as a specimen planting. It forms a small tree or large upright deciduous shrub. The young foliage is bronze, and has fragrant white flowers that appear from late summer to mid autumn.
The flowers fall to reveal small three sectioned seed pods, hence the name trichotomum.
Grow in a humus rich well drained but moist soil in full sun.
