Lavender ‘Hidcote’ is one of the most popular hedging lavenders available.
‘Hidcote’ Lavender is more compact than most of the other English Lavenders. It has silvery-grey leaves and dark purple flowers. Bushy and aromatic. Prefers to be in full sun, in well-drained moderately fertile soil. Fully hardy.
We grow more Lavender ‘Hidcote’ than any other. It is most popular as Lavender hedging or for Lavender parterres. The only other we grow in these sort of numbers is ‘Imperial Gem’ which is popular for the same reasons – but a different hue of blue..
